This blog was created in 2011 as a fashion blog but quickly grew to just discussing various topics. As of November 2013, it is no longer Everything I love in life, but Gothic (and Popular) Delights. This blog is to provide posts on various Goth topics, including Lolita, mainstream music and movies, beauty tips, and fashion for non-Goths. (I still can't always dress in Goth garb.)
I currently have my first Goth Project up and running. Feel free to look at it and use it for inspiration.
About me:
I am a Goth babybat, only a teen. I have been interested in the subculture for years and finally really got into it when I came across Gothic Lolita. I am currently a "Casual Goth" until I have at least one Victorian Goth outfit, and I may also cross over into the Vampire goth every now and then. (Pun not intended). My favorite colors are black, silver, amethyst, and turquoise. My favorite books are the Harry Potter series, Dracula, Lady Susan, The Book Thief and Code Name Verity. My favorite movies are Nightmare Before Christmas, Pirates of the Caribbean, Coraline, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Star Wars. I want to watch The Matrix, 12 Years a Slave, The Fifth Estate, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, The Book Thief, Divergent, and Thor 2. My favorite TV shows are Doctor Who, Merlin, Sherlock, Torchwood, Bang Goes the Theory, and Myth Busters. My favorite artists are The Cure, Pierce the Veil, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Hunter Hayes, and Luke Bryan. No, I am not a Brit. I am an American, but my family is from the UK. Yes, I am a geek. Yes, I will silently correct your grammar. And in case you are wondering, I do write, but I am saving all my stories for creative writing and my current English class. Yeah, I'm running out of things to say.
